Maria Vargas is a bilingual immigration attorney with a background in litigation and client advocacy. Over the course of her career, she has gained experience across multiple areas of law, including immigration, family law, personal injury, and civil litigation. She is committed to guiding clients through every stage of the legal process, from initial consultation to final resolution, providing strategic and personalized representation tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Maria earned her Juris Doctor and Diploma of Civil Law from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where her passion for immigration advocacy first took shape through her work with the Pro Bono Immigration Law Clinic. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State University, graduating magna cum laude and earning Dean’s List honors throughout her undergraduate studies.
She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), including its Texas Chapter, and remains committed to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the evolving landscape of immigration law to better serve her clients.
In her spare time, Maria enjoys reading, watching movies, taking scenic walks, and spending quality time with her family and loved ones.
