Eliud Romano is a dedicated and driven legal professional known for her strong advocacy, sharp analytical skills, and unwavering commitment to justice. She approaches every case with precision and empathy, ensuring that her work not only addresses complex legal issues but also reflects the real human impact behind them. Eliud is deeply committed to upholding the integrity of the legal system and believes that every individual deserves a fair and just trial.

As a first-generation Hispanic immigrant who came to the United States at a young age, Eliud’s background has shaped both her perspective and her purpose. She is passionate about serving her community and helping individuals and families navigate difficult circumstances toward a better future. Guided by the belief that anything worth doing should be done with full effort and integrity, she brings determination and accountability to every aspect of her work.

Before pursuing a legal career, Eliud spent a decade working in the healthcare field. Through this experience, she developed resilience, critical thinking, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, even in life-threatening situations. This chapter of her life instilled in her a deep sense of compassion and responsibility, qualities that continue to define her approach as an attorney.

Eliud earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was actively involved in the Death Penalty Clinic. Through this work, she contributed to cases involving individuals facing the most serious penalties, ensuring that they received fair trials and that no life was taken unjustly. She also holds a degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List. Her academic background includes minors in Philosophy and Biology, which broaden her perspective and strengthen her ability to think critically, understand complex issues, and approach problems from multiple angles.

Her professional experience includes the distinct privilege of serving with both the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the Office of the Attorney General of Texas—institutions entrusted with upholding justice and protecting the well-being of the public.

At the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Eliud witnessed firsthand the profound responsibility of seeking justice on behalf of the community. Contributing to the preparation of cases that carried real consequences for victims, families, and defendants alike, she developed a deep respect for the weight of prosecutorial decision-making. This experience reinforced her understanding that justice is not simply about outcomes, but about ensuring that every individual is treated with fairness, dignity, and respect throughout the process. Being part of an office dedicated to public safety left a lasting impression on her sense of duty as an advocate.

At the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, Eliud’s work centered on matters that directly impact the stability and well-being of families. Through her involvement in family law matters, she saw how thoughtful legal advocacy can help secure essential support for children and provide structure during times of uncertainty. This experience was especially meaningful to her and ultimately inspired her decision to pursue family law, driven by a desire to help individuals and families regain their footing, move forward with clarity, and build stable, fulfilling futures.

Together, these experiences shaped Eliud’s perspective on the law as a powerful tool for both accountability and compassion. They strengthened her commitment to public service and continued to guide her approach to every case—with empathy, integrity, and a deep awareness of the human impact behind the law.

Fluent in Spanish, Eliud is committed to serving diverse communities and ensuring that language is never a barrier to justice. Her combined life experience, legal training, and dedication to fairness position her as a strong and principled advocate for those seeking guidance and representation.
