Brittany Kuusisto is a trial attorney at The Gonzalez Law Group who focuses primarily on Criminal Defense. Brittany has a passion for criminal justice reform and is dedicated to providing representation for those adversely impacted by the criminal justice system. Ms. Kuusisto earned her Bachelor of Science as a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology at Sam Houston State University, where she served as the Vice President of Alpha Phi Sigma, Criminal Justice Honor Society. Ms. Kuusisto went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law – Houston, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient and member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. She participated in the Actual Innocence Clinic, where she drafted pardons to be submitted to the United States President for the vindication of the Buffalo Soldiers, stationed in Houston, Texas. During her time at South Texas College of Law – Houston, Ms. Kuusisto received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Commercial Law and Human Rights. Ms. Kuusisto also earned her certification in mediation.
In her free time, Ms. Kuusisto enjoys crafting, retail therapy, and most importantly, spending time with her pets, her significant other, and her family.
