Matthew Quiroz

Matthew Quiroz is a trial attorney who focuses primarily on civil litigation and personal injury. Previous experience includes practice in the areas of mass torts, product liability, civil rights, and criminal law. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2016.

Matthew was born in West Texas and grew up in the city of Midland. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a double major in government and philosophy. He then went on to earn his J.D. at Thurgood Marshall School of Law. During law school, Mr. Quiroz was a member of the varsity mock trial team and competed in tournaments nationwide. He was the winner of the Catherine Haley Shaw 1-L Mock Trial Competition and a semi-finalist at the ABA Labor and Employment Regional Mock Trial Competition and semi-finalist in the Helen Dawn Williams Mock Trial Tournament.

Prior to joining The Gonzalez Law Group, Mr. Quiroz gained valuable experience working at a mass torts firm with an emphasis on pharmaceuticals and products liability. He also worked at the Innocence Project advocating for defendants who were wrongfully convicted. Upon receiving his license, Mr. Quiroz went on to represent clients in criminal and civil litigation where he gained invaluable courtroom experience.

Mr. Quiroz joined the Gonzalez law group in 2020 where he continues to zealously advocate for individuals who were harmed by the negligence of others. Mr. Quiroz works to protect the rights of his clients and fight for the best outcome.
