Lorena Villalon is an attorney who focuses in Immigration Law. She was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Growing up she attended various Episcopalian, Christian, and Catholic Schools. At age 16, she enrolled in a college preparatory program at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), called Mathematics and Science Academy (MSA), which allowed her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Law and Justice Studies and a minor in French, at age 20.

Following her studies at UTRGV, she enrolled in Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she was the vice-president of the Institute for International and Immigration Law. She also served as the historian for the Hispanic Law Student Association and was a member of the immigration clinic. Ms. Villalon graduated law school at age 23 and was admitted into the State Bar of Texas in 2019.
