Jennifer Peña

Jennifer Peña is a Bi-Lingual Legal Assistant Supervisor at The Gonzalez Law Group, PLLC. She joined the firm in September of 2020. In 2019, Jennifer graduated from San Jacinto College with her Associates in Business and is now pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision at the University of Houston with an emphasis in marketing and human resources. Prior to joining the Gonzalez Law Group, Jennifer was a licensed agent for State Farm where she would sell home and auto insurance policies and explain coverages for clients.

When Jennifer first started at The Gonzalez Law Group, she was a legal assistant who worked in a fast-paced environment manning the reception desk where she handled multiple client calls, screening of leads and scheduling consults.  Jennifer’s diligence and multi-tasking skills as a legal assistant eventually resulted in her promotion to a Legal Assistant Supervisor. Ms. Peña is now in charge of leading a team of legal assistants covering clients for 6 different departments. As a supervisor, Jennifer oversees the reception and call center. She works with department heads to make sure daily operations run smoothly, handles interviews for potential candidates and does MyCase training for new hires.

Ms. Pena is passionate about providing great customer service and assist the law firm’s many clients in their time of need. Jennifer aspires to improve her management skills and hopes to gain more experience in human resources and administration.  In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and spending quality time with her family and friends.
