Jacquelyn Khanich

Jacquelyn Khanich is a sharp, enthusiastic, and determined attorney in our family law department.  She is a compassionate trial lawyer that fights zealously for every client having over 8 years of experience in Family Law. She received a Juris Doctorate in Law from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California in 2012. She is licensed to practice in California, New York, and Texas and has international experience. Ms. Khanich recently moved back from London, England after attending a Masters of Law program, Queen Mary University London’s LLM program in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution and Arbitration.  There she wrote her dissertation on Family Law Arbitration and the Arbitrability of Family Law Cases.  She also worked as a consultant attorney for W Legal, in London since 2017.

Ms. Khanich started her career in Entertainment Law representing celebrities, filmmakers, reality studio television networks, and talent management companies.  She started assisting clients in the entertainment industry with their family law cases.  That is where her passion and desire to help those in need grew – hence her desire to start her own solo practice focusing on family law.  She aspires to become a family law Judge in the future. Before joining the Gonzalez Law Group, Ms. Khanich had her own practice for over seven years with experience in family law, litigation, estate planning, probate,  transactional, international disputes, entertainment law, IP (Copyright & Trademark), and criminal law.  Ms. Khanich also contributed to the Civil Litigation practices of several law firms focusing on high profile corporate and entertainment matters and arbitration in all arenas. During law school, Ms. Khanich worked on several high-profile litigations during her summer associate position at Baker Marquart, LLP. She also received the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Writing. Additionally, she has experience in international arbitration.

Ms. Khanich attended the University of Texas at Austin, Suffolk University in Madrid, and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, minoring in Acting and Film.  She lived and worked in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates after her undergraduate degree before she decided to go to law school in California.  As a seasoned world traveler of over 90 countries, she has built strong interpersonal skills with people of all cultural backgrounds utilizing her intermediate knowledge of Spanish and Arabic.  In addition to international law and travel, Ms. Khanich loves to cook as evidenced by her win on the popular Food Network show “Chopped.”
