Britney Norwood is a Trial Attorney for the Family Law division at The Gonzalez Law Group, PLLC. Britney joined the law firm in November 2022, where she continues to learn and enhance her skills in family law matters. She was raised in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Houston, Texas. Britney is a recent graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law, pending the State of Texas bar admission. Her practice primarily focuses on representing individuals in family law matters. Britney received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Texas Southern University. She then went on to receive her J.D. at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she received her Basic Mediation Certification and worked in the Family Law Clinic, representing clients Pro Bono.

Ms. Norwood has always had a passion in giving the unrepresented a voice and advocating on their behalf. In her free time, she loves reading, spending time with family, and shopping for shoes.
