Asael Garcia

Growing up in an immigrant household and seeing firsthand how his own relatives and the Hispanic community, in general, are affected by immigration laws and regulations, Asael Garcia has always been drawn by the field of immigration law. This desire prompted him to seek work as a legal assistant at one of the largest immigration law firms known for a high volume of cases and where he assisted attorneys in a fast-paced work environment.

He graduated with a double major in history and English literature from the University of Houston and subsequently obtained his teaching certification.  He went on to teach 8 years, but never forgot about his other passion-immigration law. Even as a teacher, this inclination toward immigration law led him to work part-time in a law firm which focus in immigration law on his time off during the weekends and summers.

Realizing that he needed to materialize his dreams of becoming an immigration attorney one day, he decided to pursue a career as a full-time paralegal.  He is now a paralegal at The Gonzalez Law Group, where his insatiable thirst to learn about complexities of immigration law are being fulfilled. As a paralegal, he employs everything he has learned over the past several years to give clients the best treatment and achieve favorable results in their cases. His goal is to assist attorneys and serve clients to the fullest extent. He hopes to see many more victories in the highly regarded immigration department at The Gonzalez Law Group, PLLC.
